TechCrunch reports that Anthropic has warned it is very close to RSI capability, meaning AI that builds itself.
RSI, or recursive self-improvement, is the point at which AI grows so good at training itself that it spawns a dramatic acceleration of AI capabilities. TechCrunch notes that AI doomers see RSI as the cataclysm from which there is no return.
