The FBI has arrested an OpenAI employee accused of planting a hidden recording device in a conference room, TechCrunch reports. It is not clear exactly what the device was used for.
FBI director Kash Patel said the scheme was meant to capture sensitive communications about the company's superintelligence technology. The accusation has not been tested in court.
