Microsoft has closed a loophole that let people sidestep the need for an online account while setting up consumer versions of Windows 11. Clicking Learn More on the account prompt used to jump straight to entering a name and password.
The Register tested the old trick on real hardware and confirmed it no longer works, though it says other unofficial workarounds still exist.
