The Robot Report says Tutor Intelligence has raised $75 million in Series B funding as it works toward general-purpose robotics.
The Watertown, Mass.-based company spun out of MIT CSAIL in 2021. Its internet-connected robots work in production environments with input from remote operators it calls tutors, and the data trains its models. Customers pay by the hour or by the pick, with no upfront purchase and no long-term contract, the company says.
